However, in recent weeks and months, we have heard news reports of accidents involving electric shock that have claimed human lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Electricity is an indispensable part of our everyday lives, but it can also pose countless dangers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Touching 230 V alternating voltage can be fatal to humans. It should not be overlooked that electricity is of paramount importance not only in terms of occupational safety but also in terms of fire safety. In recent years, several fires have been caused by electrical equipment malfunctions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cedit.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/%C3%89rint%C3%A9sv%C3%A9delem-jelent%C5%91s%C3%A9ge-a-munkav%C3%A9delemben-%C3%A9s-a-t%C5%B1zv%C3%A9delemben.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-742\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The employer is required to subject electrical equipment to a standardization review in accordance with Decree 10\/2016. (IV. 5.) NGM in the following cases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>when installing new electrical equipment, prior to commissioning;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>during the expansion, conversion, and repair of electrical equipment, after the inspection by the installer has been completed;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>any malfunction attributable to a fault or deficiency in the touch protection, where the cause of the malfunction could not be determined and the fault requiring repair could not be isolated by means of a technician's inspection; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>in the case of periodic inspections at intervals specified by law.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is a touch protection standard review?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The&nbsp;<strong>touch protection<\/strong>&nbsp;the totality of technical measures and protective methods (systems) used to ensure that electrical machines, devices, and equipment that are not normally live but may become live due to a fault, and prevent electrical accidents resulting from human contact with metal or other electrically conductive (semiconductor) parts (bodies).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Basic objectives and opportunities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>prevents the human body from becoming part of the circuit (protective fence)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>reduce the strength of the current flowing through the human body to below the dangerous level (by connecting high-value resistors in series and low-value resistors in parallel)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>choose a bridgeable voltage difference that is so small that it cannot conduct a dangerous current through the human (animal) body (low voltage)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>prevents the touch voltage from persisting for a long time (fast-acting fuses)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, it is important to note that despite technical advances and modern equipment, the protective measures detailed above do not provide complete protection.
