Targeted occupational safety inspection of baking and confectionery activities
According to a report by the Ministry of Finance, between May 6 and June 7, 2019, companies operating in the baking and confectionery industry throughout the country were subject to targeted occupational safety inspections.

The targeted inspection was justified by the fact that, due to the specific characteristics of the baking and confectionery industry, employees are exposed to numerous accident hazards and health risks. In previous years, several serious accidents involving amputation occurred during work.

The official inspection highlighted the importance of the operability of safety equipment, the significance of the employer's obligation to carry out regular inspections, and the need to improve employees' approach to occupational safety.
